Terms of Use

Welcome to JudgeWire. By accessing or using our platform at judgewire.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully before creating an account or participating in any competition or critique service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, submitting content, or using any feature of JudgeWire, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. These Terms apply to all users including viewers, competitors, studios, and judges.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account on JudgeWire. Minors may have content submitted on their behalf by a parent, guardian, or studio owner who accepts these Terms on their behalf. By creating an account you confirm you meet the age requirement or are acting as an authorized representative of a minor.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to:

JudgeWire reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Content Submissions

When you submit videos, photos, or other content to JudgeWire, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and stream that content for the purpose of operating the platform. You retain ownership of your content. You represent and warrant that:

JudgeWire is not liable for copyright infringement resulting from user-submitted content. If you believe content on the platform infringes your rights, please contact us at hello@judgewire.com.

5. Competitions and Voting

Competition rules, voting periods, eligibility requirements, and scoring criteria are set by competition administrators. JudgeWire provides the platform infrastructure but is not responsible for competition outcomes, award decisions, or administrative choices made by competition organizers. All votes require a registered JudgeWire account. Attempts to manipulate votes through automated means, multiple accounts, or other fraudulent methods will result in account termination and may result in disqualification from competitions.

6. Judge Critiques

Critique services are offered by independent judges through the JudgeWire marketplace. JudgeWire facilitates the transaction and delivery of critiques but does not guarantee specific outcomes, turnaround times beyond those stated by the judge, or the content of feedback provided. All critique fees are clearly stated before purchase. Refund requests for delivered critiques are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact us at hello@judgewire.com.

Certain features of JudgeWire, including competition entry fees and judge critique purchases, require payment. All fees are stated clearly before any transaction. Payments are processed through third-party payment processors. By making a purchase, you agree to the pricing displayed and any applicable fees. JudgeWire reserves the right to modify pricing with reasonable notice.

9. Intellectual Property

The JudgeWire name, logo, platform design, and all associated branding are the intellectual property of JudgeWire. You may not use our branding, trademarks, or platform content without express written permission. User-submitted content remains the property of the submitting user, subject to the license granted in Section 4.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

JudgeWire is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or that the platform will meet your specific needs. To the fullest extent permitted by law, JudgeWire's liability for any claim arising out of your use of the platform is limited to the amount you paid to JudgeWire in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

JudgeWire may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases, though content you submitted may remain visible in competitions where it has already been approved.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email or through an in-platform notice. Continued use of JudgeWire after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of Florida.
